Situation: I have a cab with a cps1 Lydz multi and cps2 mainboard (sf zero 2 alpha) in it and just ordered a Darksoft CPS 2 multi. Currently I am changing the jamma plug to switch games but this will become painful. On a whim I decided to try a GBS8118 jamma switcher despite the numerous problems, I mean how bad can they be.
Problem:
The GBS8118 has no documentation anywhere and it doesn't appear to be functioning at all. It dosen't look like there is much to it but without documentation I am having a few issues working out if this is just a dud board or if I have something set up wrong. My first question is do I need both input jammas populated for this to work. My second question is how do you change this from being a switch to a splitter. The third question is am I better off just junking this pos and picking up one of mike's arcade or other similar 2 in 1 switchers.
