Great resource! Thanks for doing this!

Also, let me know if you every need High Res photos of boards. I can ask around and between my collection and friends in the hobby, I can get them done.

I’d appreciate any photos that you and other folks are willing to send my way. Open to article contributions as well.

I used to read Arcade Fixer and System 11’s repair blogs and they both went offline with only minimal external archiving AFAIK unfortunately. That’s one reason why I’ve been trying to collect information (with attribution) from various sources into these new PCB Encyclopedia writeups - so that it’s another “copy” of the information in case the originals go offline.

I’ve been in contact with the Arcade Fixer blogger and although he doesn’t have any backups of his blog, he’s given me permission to repost any blog entries I can unearth on JAMMArcade. I tried reaching out to System11 on Twitter about hosting an archive of his blog, but he hasn’t answered me back.

You can actually get a good few entries from arcade fixer on the wayback machine. It seems only the home page was indexed but if you navigate the dates on the top right you can go back several years.

E.g.
July 2021
http://web.archive.org/web/20210707165027/http://arcadefixer.blogspot.com/

Then
Nov 2019
http://web.archive.org/web/20191129014655/http://arcadefixer.blogspot.com/

Then
Oct 2019
http://web.archive.org/web/20191002135437/http://arcadefixer.blogspot.com/

Etc.

All the way to
Jan 2018
http://web.archive.org/web/20180107083607/http://arcadefixer.blogspot.com/
(that Chelnov repair...... wow).

He did a sort of "table of contents" here:
https://www.aussiearcade.com/topic/76041-apocalypses-repair-logs/

My word look at that table of contents. The guy is an arcade savant!

Very sad that this wonderful info that was lost but hopefully you can salvage some.

Possibly could do the same for system11?

Only issue with the wayback machine is that the images seem to be missing the further back you go

Mine is down temporarily - I couldn't afford the hosting anymore so the server is under our stairs now. I was looking for some free options to bring it back with ad banners or whatever, but I've not been particularly thinking about it recenydye to a death in the family.
