I don’t believe so. Those cutoff circuits are uniquely designed - such as the headphone plug in AV receivers. The best I could come up with is installing a small amp where you can turn the volume of the pcb down, and then plug in the headphones.

I don't think it should be that hard. There are headphone jacks that have momentary switches inside.

Thanks for testing this out. What’s your take on the Headphone connection?


1. Speaker - for speaker level signal, which will be filtered by the capacitor and resistor in series for a safe headphone level output.

Why would you plug headphones into speaker level signal?

2. Headphone - for headphone level signal.

Wouldn’t this be the correct one?

I’m wondering in the speaker JST connector is a pass thorough for going back to the speakers? If that’s possible in this circuit.

Is yours still working after a few years?
