Just want to say a huge thank you to everyone that has bought stuff from me in the last year.
For those that don't know, I got caught up in the DOGE (not the crypto currency) stuff last year and was illegally fired from my government job because I had the audacity to start in June 2024 versus February 2024. Everyone that wasn't a nurse who worked there less than a year was gone. By the time the courts got my job back I had already applied to and been accepted into the MBA program in my hometown of Tucson at the University of Arizona. At the time, there was still a 50/50 shot of getting fired again for another made up reason by the Fall; it was pure chaos at the VA. I decided the best move was to go forward and go ahead and get my masters. I found a loophole to get Uncle Sam to pay for most of it, but not all. Because the program was two years combined into one I knew I wouldn't have time to work even part time and I'd be broke as shit the entire time because I refused to take out any kind of loan.
Over the last year this forum has helped me downsize my collection by around 1/2 and earn $8000 in the process. This cash has gone towards remaining tuition, immigration lawyer fees for my wife to come to America from Japan (still pending), and now that I've graduated and am still job searching it has even helped pay some bills.
Was sad to let some of the stuff go, but at the end of the day my collection was getting too big for me and it feels nice knowing that it has been going to people in the community. Having extra space in the house and less worries about storage/moving issues once I do find work is also an amazing feeling, so thank you. The only big items I have left for sale is that System 1 Wonderboy and the Rhea equipped Victor Saturn, but I'll be posting some small odds and ends over the next month or so as I go through everything at my house.
