Killer Instinct 1 Blue Screen Loop -- How to fix it?

I took my KI board out of storage after a couple of years, and I wanted to play it. I turned it on and got the rolling blue screen with bong sounds. I made another copy of the HDD image since its running of compact flash and same result. Even with the CF adaptor removed, its the same blue screen with bong. Would I need to get another CF adaptor? or is there something else? Voltages are fine.

Try it with the original u98 as that gives more error information related to hard drive.
