Well I have the CF HDD thar you plug on to it. But it may be damaged idk so I order a new one from a site and not ebay

No I don't. Cause I have my friend fixing it up for me and I ordered the part to be sent to him so he can see what's up if it's an hdd is or something else

OK small update: got the new CF HDD and still nothing. I get a rolling blue screen the has 1 gong. Doesn't hang or stay stuck on the blue screen just restarts over again. I know people told me to start checking the ic chips and other chips to see if one is bad or whatnot. Help is always greatly appreciated.
What bios are you running? the CF HDD setup will require the Any-IDE bios EPROM that should have been included in the kit (if you bought one)

Hmm thats a good question. How would I find that out? Cause it came with a u98 chip. But idk how to check the bios.
if you didn't replace it then it's probably the wrong one.
the way to check it would be to dump the ROM and run romident on the dump against MAME.

I will ask @cruzlink2 if he swapped the new u98 with the new cf hdd. I'm sure he's done it.
