Konami Beatmania HDD Fix

[SailorLodestar]

I recently got a copy of Beatmania the Final, but it has a failing hard drive.

When I turn it on, the machine does a rom check and I get the error "e710".

Has anyone found a fix for these failing hard drives?

Yes, there's been a cracked rom to bypass the protection floating around for over a decade. Will upload and DM you a link when it's done. Really should be public by now anyway.

I'd also like to know that information. Could you please send me a DM? Thank you.
