ok guys, need a little help again. New konami monitor, looking for pinout. I have a VGA conversion pinout map, but I need ac outs (top 3 pins) I believe it's neutral, ground, line. Want to make sure I wire up a power cord correctly. And rgb, sync, and ground, pins as I may use it in a JAMMA cabinet.

Cheers friends.

Eric

Hmm. I've never seen a connector like that.

heres what I have. Just not sure what pin is line and neutral, or if that even matters.
You should not worry about it, follow the 2 wires, if one gets to a fuse then tie that wire to line. But since the crt is meant to be used in a cab, its not going to be polarized, so just plug it in.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I have a 3 prong emi socket I'm going to install. I feel much better about this now.

Go for it man, you should remove that funky connector and replace it with something more common/standard and separate the ac connection from the rgb lines.

That is exactly what I'm planing to do. Can't decide if I'll wire it up VGA or RGB yet tho.

Konami made monitors? What did they use them in? All of their music arcade games use Toshiba's.

Color me intrigued.

I believe the monitor was manufactured by Samsung for konami.
What did this come out of? Or do you have a model number for the chassis by chance?

While the Tube is probably Samsung, I don't think I've ever heard of Samsung making monitor chassis for arcade games.

@rewrite,
This is all I have on me now. Monitor came from Russia.

Hope this is what you were wanting to see.
That's a Kortek chassis. :)

MP-KT1982 would be my guess (the end of the chassis model number is obscured by a wire) since the serial number sticker on the frame says 19F. Lots of info on it out there, you should be able to fix anything that goes wrong with it.
