Thanks @vaughan14, so did you use 300 and not 2935? I thought the colour was set in the file itself. Is the contour cut line where they actually cut it out with the blade? Thanks again.
Very unlikely I suspect. They're pretty complicated with the angles and dimensional parts, would require injection molding to do right I would imagine. Be an expensive thing to take on for pretty niche sales.Awesome!
Now I just need to have the marquee itself- did anybody already recreate those?
Acrylic/Perspex I would say. What material do you guys think the marquee is made out of
Injection molded polycarbonate. What material do you guys think the marquee is made out of
I was looking at this and honestly, the mounting base seems to be the difficult bit but since it is not visible in normal circumstances, I'm sure a 2 piece base and holder could be designed that would work.@Ziggy Cheetos Dust its on my to do list.
I was thinking something similar. Forget trying to make one piece of acrylic/polycarbonate and make a bracket (I was thinking laser cut stainless steel) that screws into the cabinet mounts to which one attaches a similarly sized set of back and front clear plastic.Anyone find a solution to make marquee holders for Windys?? 3D printed bases with a flat acrylic that screws from the bottom to sandwich 2 pieces together possibly??
