) I'd prefer to buy one already set up for 2 player than source my own panel. Really, I don't want any of the guts; no monitor, buttons, system, etc. Basically just a chassis with a two player panel.

That's just silly, you are going to pay at least a grand for just a shell with a panel on it...
For a few hundred more you could get a complete machine... Even if you don't care about having it complete you can always sell the parts you don't want.
The JVS PSU loom is worth about 50~80$ alone... PSU another 100$, soundboard 80~100$... You see this adding up?
Or you could always buy Chewlix, really I think its criminal to gut/hack up a Vewlix in the way you are suggesting.

Agree with above. I have an F that was similarly gutted and it was a mistake from the offer it to others perspective. It basically holds no value and nobody will ever take it, despite that it functions the same or better than a normally wired Vewlix at a lower price. Just get a Cewlix or don't gut that shit lol

That is a brand new Diamond Black from Taito for $4200 but if it make you feel better my understanding is that the previous Diamond Blue/white new cost twice as much as a black when it came out..for what is worth in my opinion that is a very good price for a brand new Diamond black..
