Okay so Basically I started to get netboot going on my Sega Naomi 2 and since I already setup my Guncon 3 on the Chihiro with OpenJVS I wanted to start trying out the light gun games on here, thankfully maze of the kings and confidential mission seem to run and play great, although for some reason Lupin is being stubborn, usually I'll be able to get into the attract mode and one time I even got into the game for abit until I eventually get hit with this I/O error. At first I was thinking maybe it's just being picky about the board I was emulating since it was a Type 3 board and not the 1 Lupin originally uses and once I switched it over to type 1 I/O I get hit with the same error. :/

Unfortunately it's looking more likely that it might just be a limitation on OpenJVS.

Good news, so I turned off desktop mode on the Pi, and also disabled debug mode then ran Open JVS with real-time priority and that seemed to pretty much fix it, before I'd be Lucky to get halfway through mission 1 and after that I managed to get all the way to mission 6 game over and then let the attract loop for around 10 minutes with no COM errors in sight.

Underrated & a bit of a oddity this game I've been playing it on the pad on Pi5 make a change from HOTD2.

Death Crimson is the worse of the Naomi light gunners.

My fav game from that era is still Time Crisis which plays 90% good on Pi5 via mame its funny when you put it side by side with the PS1 & see how bad that looked.
