I recall from the early days and region/key hacking that there was also some 'show version' or something that could be a one-byte change? Not sure as Google shows me nothing.

But i'm really curious to see the program ROM labels in the case.

I would be surprised if it's more than a few kbyte change (to set Free Play to default, if even that).
