Bump. Bought this. Tracking never left his country and I can't get ahold of him.
I would like a refund at this point.

Update: Usps called me today and is aware they never got it.
They're trying to figure out why it never left Malta.
It is possible it actually got lost. But the seller ghosting me is giving me pause.
It has been since September. I feel like I am a reasonable person but I am flummoxed why I was ghosted.

Update #2 he has filed a claim and I have responded thru usps.
I have not got my item.

Still don't understand what has happened but I am cooperating.

Hello?

Bumpity "supposedly" Malta found it.
Upon promptly it got scanned in on tracking.
And is still in Malta a week later.
As it has been for 5 months.

Now I am thinking it might be Malta and not the seller.

But why the avoidance?

Either way I'd be happy after 5 months to recieve it. But I am not hopeful.

Final update:

Usps investigated and I even got an official letter twice.
It took 5 months though no fault of the seller, it showed up today and works as described.

For some reason, Malta post office refused to move it on.
Despite "finding" it and scanning it in, twice, they then proceeded to sit on it again until a second official inquiry.

Again, not the sellers fault from what I can see.
It works, is as described, and the date stamp matches our communications.

I would recommend the seller, though I would recommend he avoid Malta post office in the future and use ups or fedex.

I am glad it showed up.

I've never had such an odd experience with international mail.

I have been selling things all over the world over 20 years, never had an issue. On the same day I shipped two items to the US.

1. Package 1 disappeared in thin air.

2. Package 2, the MD2 in this thread, it seems to have been shipped back to my country (according to MaltaPost, USPS did this by mistake), and they forwarded it back to the US. When I noticed that the first package went missing, I initiated a complaint with MaltaPost and it seems that it worked as very quickly after it was. Thankfully the package was very well secured and still arrived in one piece.

Even though packages were sent by tracking (which wasn't really getting any updates after it left my country), in case of a loss, like package 1, I got a very small refund which basically just covers the shipping cost I paid. Going forward to be able to send something to the US I would have to ask the buyer to purchase insurance :(

This sucks.
