I've both an open ice and a umk3 wolf board but only one working u45 chip. Thankfully it's socketed and easily swapped between boards but it would be nice not to have to swap all the time.

Has anyone looked into reproducing this chip? It's an Altera epm7064lc68 clpd.

Well what you gotta do is provide 2-3 of the chips, send it to China...spend $2000 on that and maybe you'll get it the code.

Riight. Now If I had had 2 or 3 chips it wouldn't have been a problem ^^. Thx though.

It sounds doable but patience required for @Phil Bennett or another grand master to have another crack at it.

Does mame black box simulate this chip if the code is not dumped?

Perhaps it might get dumped in a few years by a mister developer working on wolf. Maybe with a donation drive to fund the dumping.
