If you have option 2 enabled and ran the mame updater then yes, probably have to wait..Question, if I want to use them update_all script, do I have to wait for the script to be updated? I see some people are having issues with ROM sets.
I'm catching up too brutha, been out of the mister game for a minute. Check this out - https://misterfpga.org/viewtopic.php?t=2757#p27621@digitron I wonder if I have to enable the “beta” cores? This whole zip file “key” thing Jotego has got going on is fairly confusing tbh.
Thanks for the info.Saw this on Aliexpress: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005002862595291.html
Looks like a slimline singular integrated I/O Board with option for either VGA output or Saturn (S-Video, Composite or RGB). Power is also USB-C. Interesting, but given the track record of MiSTer goods from Aliexpress, who knows how this will perform.
I've tried VGA to scart cable on a CRT TV and used a VGA cable connected to my arcade cabinet with a trisync monitor. Only those 2 cores refuse to work, that is what i find strange...How are you connecting to your CRT
Could be an issue with the cable? Make sure the sync is correct for that cable.
You can generate a fresh .ini here: https://ini.misterkun.io/
Have you got an individual core settings setup in your .ini or have you messed with any of the options in the core menu?
That is why i've asked if anyone can point out a .ini file to download, one that i know for sure works in 15Khz with no problems.Best way would be to use MiSTerKun and select the appropriate settings for your cable. A fresh ini might help out. Then if that doesn’t work try troubleshooting/refreshing your SD card.
I really appreciate your help and i think i understood your post. Please re-read my reply.
Cores output at their native resolution. 15khz, 24khz, whatever.
There isn’t an .ini file that will give you 15khz.
You will have to tweak the .ini in relation to your cables and displays specification.
It sounds like you’ve already tried this and it hasn’t worked. Best thing to do would be to format the SD card and start from scratch.
I really appreciate your help and i think i understood your post.
But other cores i play like SNES or Genesis or even CAVE, all output in 15Khz and i have no problem with those. Obviously i could be wrong and i'm kind of noob on this matter, but if those cores work with my setup (cables; TV; chassis; etc.) i don't think this should be "cable related" and i'm more inclined towards a .ini problem.
But i will keep searching and trying. Thanks again for the feedback.
