Built this because I was sick of making Midway to CPS2 kick harness adapter cables for people. They are expensive to make (especially if you fill the CPS2 male cable plug with pins) and take ages so they are not really worth it unless doing it for yourself. At most there are 3 diodes in series, at 0.6v drop per diode there still should be just over 3v left to trigger the button press which typically triggers at over 1.3v. Besides that it's fairly simple.

I'll send you one down when I send that N2 back. I currently have 4? So 3 left, but I can do another run anytime.

I upgraded this one a bit. Special thanks to @xodaraP for the button selection idea and for pointing out the missed opportunity in Mortal Kombat Kondenser. Maybe ill get that in with the next upgrade. This one has been sitting on the bench for a few months and I still haven gotten those dip switches on.

I just got an MK1 cabinet and I'm already tired of making cables. Any chance this is for sale? Thanks!

not all Mortal Kombats are Y-unit. I have T-unit boards that use the player 3 headers like the other games. I had actually made a multi game player 3 harness to plug into one of those condenser boards a hundred years ago and adapted MK1 to the Y-unit style header. lol

I'll probably never play my games again. ;/

If you had the other header you could plug it into the second header and it should still work but the first one would be useless and the 3rd one is the only place to put MK3 as its the only one I wired the extra button to. A small mod could fix that though. I was getting pretty close to my diode limit.
