What rom chips do i need to turn it into a nba hangtime ? I don’t know if I need pacific ones like numbers etc. so i can buy some..

Mk3 to maximum nba hangtime ?

The first thing is the U64 security PIC. you need one from NBA Hangtime, or you'll need to use an Any U64 ROM set:

The second thing is upgrading the S-RAM and associated PLD chip as they're different between MK3 and Hangtime:
details in that same thread but starting here:
this will require some de-soldering and soldering of components.

Well, there are some other ways, Midway made internal versions that use the 8k x 8 sram. These are identified as M1.3 instead of L1.3 for example.
The 8k version has a little less player records but 195 should be more than enough..
I can build a version for you of L1.3 w/ 8K chip support. Actually it's already in the source leak. (but with PIC security still intact.)

Someone can probably neuter the PIC check too
As a step towards the future you might want to get 8x 27C801 extra, you'll need them when we drop Super Maximum Hangtime later.
(Yes, we will be doing 8k and 32k version with no pic checks.)

Nhl board can be converted to hangtime easy right?
there is no soldering to upgrade the RAM if that's what you're asking.
the U57 PLD needs to be changed (which is socketed) and everything else is just a ROM swap assuming you're using the Any U64 patched ROM set.
