For reference, I'm using Naomi 1, NetDimm, and Capcom I/O:

I've got one of these bigger Sun PSU's, looks like one for the Model 3, should I use this for my Naomi NetDimm set-up? (yes, I'm finally getting around to hooking this thing up).

I noticed that a lot of people have a smaller version that seems dedicated to power just the Naomi set-up, whereas mine seems to be one that powers an entire cabinet, given that it has AC-out that would go to a monitor.

It has all the voltages I'd need for a Naomi, but I'm kinda thinking it'd be a hassle because of it's size, and probably overkill to use.

I don't have the smaller Sun PSU for Naomi, but I do have a 350w ATX powersupply that I could create an adapter loom to connect to my boardset.

Should I go this route, or just try to find a proper Naomi Sun PSU?

I should also mention I have a spare Dreamcast PSU in my stash from swapping it out with a DreamPSU... I might be able to leverage that for this as well.

that's a Model 3 PSU, Sega did use them on SOME early NAOMI games like HOTD2.

In terms of their output they're great but they do seem to have a high failure rate.

The biggest problem is the harness, you can spend as much on that as you do on the rest of the PSU.

If yours works I'd be willing to trade you for a proper NAOMI PSU. I have a bunch of NAOMI PSUs but I do need another Model 3 PSU for running actual Model 3 hardware (NAOMI PSUs are a mess to try to wire up to Model 3)
