Monitor has little metal discs that are preventing me from placing the bezel on - good to remove?

Hi all,

I've got a monitor here I'm using in my Blast city, and these little metal discs on the frame are pushing the monitor out far enough that its preventing the bezel from fitting properly onto my unit. I assume these hold no functionality and exist simple to adjust the placement of a monitor within a cabinet to better align with bezels, etc, just wanted to check if anyone knew anything about them before I remove them.

They're just spacers, you can remove them.
