WTB Monkey Ball joystick for Naomi

Don't try to play with the tiny analog sticks from the baseball panel... it works, till you get to the harder levels, then it's impossible. you need precision. speaking from experience :)

you can use a happ or atari analog stick, if you don't have the sega pot amp, you'll can to use the happ pot amp. and yeah. it's not as cool without the banana. honestly I have NEVER seen just the banana stick for sale by itself. only panels in various state.

looooong ago, I rewired this for detroit44 ( no the banana shelll did not fit ) and it worked great. so. consider it an option till you can score a panel.

I've heard that the Monkey Ball Stick is the same as the Planet Harriers stick, just with a different grip.

If anyone has a pic of a banana-less MB stick I can take the grip off of my PH one to verify. But I believe @nem said this was the case, if I'm not mistaken?

They're the same stick, Sanwa JLK-GF2-AT.

The only difference is the mounting plate (and the grip of course). The plate for the candy cab panel is smaller than the plate for the sitdown cab panel.
 
Found my kits @Rg111 ! Full kits with multiple instruction strips, marquee art, GDRom/pic/manual, adapter cable, and of course, the panel. All new (or extremely close to it! The game isn’t even open, all the Art looks pristine, etc)

I’d probably be willing to sell the kit for the right price, or just a panel alone maybe.

I’ll pm you with all the pics out of the box so you can take a look.

This is great to see. I think the last full kit that sold in KLOV sold for a cool $1000 (worth it).

I love my American style one. It'll be the last to go in my collection, for sure.
 
@nem there aren’t scans of the artwork anywhere online?! If I can get my hands on a nice big scanner I should be able to help there. But I figured every Naomi game has been scanned so far.

@twistedsymphony yeah, I have one more kit. (Unless I open the box and find out it’s something else! Ha! I really need to label my storage boxes)

I wasn’t looking to sell, as I love the game and would like to have a spare as backup. I’d also rather keep the set together - splitting up a kit makes me feel a little guilty. You can PM me if you really want it.
 
@reclaimer, most FedEx office locations have those roller scanners than can take in very very large items.

if you don't want to sell then don't sell. I can continue hunting. I'd prefer to buy a lose panel over a kit anyway.

I will throw this out there... if anyone would be interested in trading a VOOT panel (with sticks) for a Monkey ball panel (with stick) I'd make that trade :D
