MS-2933 Calibration

Hey guys,

New to the wonderful world of candy cabs. I just acquired a blast city with the MS-2933 and a chassis with the number 5P20054. There's a bunch of settings on the OSD (red gain, green gain, etc) and just wondering if any of you can recommend settings that you are happy with. I know your experiences could vary depending on the condition of my tube, but some baselines would be nice and I could tweak from there.

Every monitor is different, even same model tube / chassis.

Here’s a pretty good guide for adjusting the colors. The basic color adjustment is the same across CRTs.

Cool....looks like a nice guide. Looks like I need to get a game that has a test menu on it. Since I just got my blast I've only got a one slot neo geo board with fatal fury.

The Neo Geo has a test menu. What you need is something with a color gradient.

CPS2 has a good color gradient in the test menu, yes (the 240p test suite uses this same gradient).
