Hi,
So my previous MS8-26 decided to die yesterday and while I fix that, I thought of using my spare chassis to get the cab running. The chassis works fine, but adjusting the width is being difficult. I tried the ferrite "trick" that I did with the other one, which consists in adjusting the ferrite as much as you can, turn off, put the ferrite again to the middle and start again until the desired width is achieved. But that doesn't work on this chassis. When I reset the ferrite I also reset the width.
B+ is 92VDC
Width plug on the chassis is on "wide".
Any ideas on how to get a proper width adjustment?
(The picture shows the max width I managed to achieve)
EDIT: I guess it's worth to mention that the original chassis was a MS8-26SG and the spare one a MS8-26A. Which I suspect to be the issue here.
