Hi it's me again. ..

Okay, I'm in the process of doing a capkit on this fragile ass chassis because well... im tired of it sometimes turning on and sometimes telling me to go fuck myself.

Maybe fuse? Hoping capkit? Or maybe it's this damn resistor R542 that looks like it blew up.

anyways, will love to replace this resistor but I think I'm color blind. I tried looking at values but not sure if I'm reading it correctly, do guys also see: green, 3xswhite and then pink?

Your help will be appreciated it.
Thank you.

R542 1.8k 1/2w , try to replace this with a good metal oxyde resistor, it will just not overheating like a carbon one.

Okay, replaced resistor but nothing changed .

After reading alot about this chassis and performed reflow of neckboard and chassis and capkit, checked both fuses and both look good. With my no power up, no clicking, neck glow I came to conclusion that it my be my HOT Q533.

after looking it up I came up to this:

Now, the on on the chassis say 3J
This one on ebay has 5J does that matter? Please let me know. Thank you.

For sure you have one little transistor shorter, there are 3 all on primary psu section, test them all

Thank you brother. Will test them for sure.

Tested the HOT and that came out good. Oh well atleast I have 2 for back up now thatI ordered them.

I figured it could be something with psu side. I mean I get nothing, no sound no glow, nothing. The only thing I get is sound from the mistercade when game comes on.

Tested Q902,Q903,Q904 out of the pcb... it's looked good none of them are shorted. Also tested VR transistor, HOT, and the other one whatever it is and all good.

I think Chad (Arcadecup) looking like a good idea right about now lol

You have ti check x ray protection circuit just near the flyback, there are two diodes and 3 x metal film resistors, most likely one or more of them are out of spec.
