MS9-29 replacement for MS8-29 possible?

I ordered a replacement MS8-29 chassis for my Astro City from Yaton and they sent me a MS9-29 chassis…
My current chassis model is NANAO 05A00362G1
And the one they sent me is a NANAO 05A00675C1
I don’t know if it’s even possible to replace my current chassis with the new one as horizontal vertical connectors are different. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It will work. You just need to terminate the vertical yoke wires to a smaller connector.

Do note that since the yoke is slightly different on the MS8 compared to the MS9, you cannot get expand the picture horizontally to fill the screen in every game.
