I just opened a new post for my problem of glitches with my multi m72. As you can see on the linked video, there are some small glitches located. I did a cap kit, I checked the cables continuities. I reinforced the boards system by adding more legs at the middle of the boards.
I also increased the 5V to 5.10V, as it was suggested, but I didn’t see any difference.

If you have any other suggestions please tell me

Errors in the background sprite layer. Was the PCB working before you installed the kit? Hopefully so and you just physically damaged a trace and can track it down.

Sure, the game was working perfectly before installing the multi, even just after, I could play and the next week I observed these glitches. The pcbs are clean I checked again today, I could not seen anything wrong on the pcbs.

I would unseat and reseat all the socketed EPROMs, clean them and possibly reburn the one containing background graphics then. Also ensure the kit pins are cleaned and reinserted as well.

Is there a schematic somewhere to know where are the background graphics EPROMs ? Thanks

Does anybody knows the model of this IREM M72 PCB connector?

I was always bothered by the the bottom board connector never being soldered flush on the board. Enough that I went and soldered them all flat on my M72 boards.

Curious why some of the M72 boards need this crossover power cable while others do not or at least function without it present.

Indeed, strange

I checked the background chips on the lowest board nothing suspicious.
I reinstalled the original game ninja spirit and so far no glitch at all. So I guess, I should first reseat all the EPROMs from the multi
