Do you know if the RGB-Pi jamma adaptor will work with Raspberry pi 5?

Yeah I have a working ms9 and a broke awsd.
Lol...ask me how I knew that. :D

I had to run my AWSD for a year or so, with the same setup, and just no bezel.....it worked...but it was ugly.

I was lucky enough to find a stack of NOS pfx monitors and then the trays from here, and got all mine upgraded.....but it took time.

You will honestly have better luck finding another flat tube Crt here in the states, than an E2 bezel.

You may need to think outside the box, and start looking for cabinets with clean flatscreens, just to buy the monitor and install it.

Tekken 5 arcade cabinet has the Sanwa 29PF31 that will work but is VGA only....they're good cabs on their own though.
A lot of the later Sega Racers had Sanwa PFX or Toshiba PF monitors.
Time Crisis 4 cabs are an excellent source of Sanwa PFX monitors as well. You'll need to make the adapter that lets them do CGA, but that's pretty easy, if you can crimp and make terminal connections/harnesses.

Whatever monitor you decide to go with, you WILL have to sort out a replacement tray, cause those weiya trays are tiny. themisterfalcon may have some left, or some advice at least.

Even if the PFX tray doesnt line up with what you find, it's wide enough to be modified to hold whatever you toss in.

If I can ever help with anything there, give me a shout....I'll be happy to share what I know about that setup, and where the pitfalls are.

I too replaced the infamous weiya of my awsd (chassis was failing) with an ms9. I ended up sanding the frame on the inside so it’d fit the monitor’s curve, not 100% perfect but quite decent. I can share pics if interested.
