Hello everybody. How's going?
I'm trying to repair a MV1C. Somebody else tried to swap ram1 and ripped some traces, then I fixed those traces and soldered ram1 back. Powered it and got a calendar error, which was solved by replacing the D4990 IC. Powered it without a cartridge and got the crosshatch screen. Nice!
Then I inserted a cartridge and got this. Cartridge is King of Fighters 94 and it works in a different board. Different cartridges gives me the same result in this board. Board was cleaned and there's no signs of corrosion. The image is b&w due to the tv I used, and to be honest I didn't tested the sound yet.
Any clues on what could be wrong? I'd guess the issue could be a bad NEO-GRZ since it handles video stuff, or maybe the video memory ICs, but I'm not sure at all since I'm new to MVS repair.
