MVS MV1FS Sound issues

I bought a MV1FS off ebay a few weeks ago and it just a few days ago. It was ugly but appeared to work fine and came with KOF 97.

After messing with KOF and the 161 in 1 for awhile I notice the sound would get really quiet, then come back or distort. This appears to happen after a few minutes and goes back and forth.

I would assume it is not the carts because the problem appears on both. I'm using a Minigun for my supergun and it hasn't given me any problems on my SFII World Warrior board.

I was hoping there were some simple tests I could do to check for a easy fix before returning the board.

Well, I flipped it over and cleaned it with iso and the volume pot, I then hooked it to better audio equipment. I'm not sure if the cleaning or the equipment switch worked (I've heard that some audio equipment can affect voltage) but it now appears to be working.

Some time ago i was with a MVS MV1FZ with same symptoms, had to replace de NEO-C1, but normally i just replace the POT.
