My first naomi cabinet

I can pickup this cabinet locally.
The seller is not really interested in it anymore. It was gutted completely. Everything is shit from aliexpress...

I wonder can I easily find a monitor that will fit? Any pointers

Or he didn’t do it himself. For a 150 bucks I’m not complaining.
I need to remake a lot. Did anybody try those arcooda monitors?

So I picked it up yesterday. The guy was super friendly. He had bought it spraypainted.
Sadly about ten years ago he trashed a working monitor and jvs harnass to create this abomination.
Luckely I already got a lead on a monitor...
Will be needing some small parts to complete the cabinet. First and foremost éa cable to connect my control panel to the game.

Anybody got any idea what the best way is to remove the paint both from plastic as metal? What is the ral color of a Naomi cab?

Can a mod move this thread to projects? Thanks in advance!

I cleaned one of the doors today with paint stripper. it went well and pretty quickly. Now the rest of the cabinet....

Did the side rails yesterday, sadly the sticker could not be saved as the paint stripper also destroyed the color on the stickers.

As luck would have it, somebody offered up a free Naomi cabinet locally. it was in parts and the monitor should work. Only the frame was rusted so I'm going combine the small net city frame with the white plastic parts from the Naomi cabinet
