I had a Z-back with my CPS1 multi installed and right next to it a Dynamo with the CPS2 multi installed. I always wondered if I could squeeze both into one cab given space is limited and I could then have room for yet another cab! 8o

I love the Z-back so I decided to go with that cab for the project. It is a huge PIA for getting more than one PCB installed at once but here is what I came up with including stereo audio!

First, I installed 2 speakers and some high quality speaker wire:

Then came the setup for both PCBs. I had a passive mixer from a DOS MIDI project I decided to use for the audio and I also used this to route the mono CPS1 to the mixer by tapping JAMMA mono pins. This allows for all games to play with sound through the amp from both speakers whether stereo or not or CPS1 or CPS1.5. I used a Riddle 2-way switcher for the PCBs.

You can see here the CPS2 multi mounted against the side of the cab. There is just enough room with the monitor removed to get that guy mounted. I took advantage of the power brick for the amplifier as a stand for the JAMMA switcher by strategically securing it right next to the JAMMA edge. I also wired the amp into the power for the cab so it comes on together:

The only thing left was a kick condenser which again I had one of Jim's condensers on hand so I used that. While I was at it, I decided to give the CP wiring a makeover. My wire harness skills are not the best but I think it came out ok. I also stripped and redid the CPO. I don't have a before pic but the overlay was off center so I finally fixed that as well.

The new CPO fit perfectly! And that is it, now I have all my CPS1/CPS2 goodness installed into the Z-back. The game selectors are available via the coin door and with the amp the sound kicks ass!
