Namco Super System 23 MSPM Daughter Card Needed for Final Furlong 2

Working on a Final Furlong 2 which has two horses and monitors. One game board stopped booting and it has been determined that a faulty MSPM daughtercard that plugs in one of the main boards is causing the issue. If the good MSPM daughtercard is swapped then the other board becomes fully working.

So, looking specifically for one MSPM daughtercard for Final Furlong 2 or whole PCB if you have one available or know where one may be purchased.

It's just flash memory. I would try reflowing the chips, and if that doesn't help, then try dumping them to see if there's a faulty one.

Thanks for the response, I’ll see if I might examine the traces closer and reflow solder. I’d like to get a hot air or rework station for these smaller surface mounted chips, or have someone reflow it.

Wait so does that mean any board can be any game?

The MSPM board holds only the main CPU and sound CPU roms.

Other roms are on the MEM board.

There's also a PIC on the FCA board, and the FCA boards are (therefore?) not interchangeable:

I believe the system 23 boards are interchangeable in the fact that you can reload the daughter board roms with the new sound and game code, but no, the board for one game won't directly plug and play with the board from another.
