Namco systyem 246 limit of continuous operation ?

I tested a System Namco 246 revision B with Tekken 4 for 5 days non stop and without interruption.
the system crashed this morning


The question is the following.
Is there a limit of continuous operation on this system?
Is there a security that is triggered after time and running time?


Do you know of other Arcade systems that have running limits over a long period of time ?

ok ok so we should improve this system with a bigger heatsink and a Noctua style fan & an
SD Card to IDE Hard Drive Converter that emulates ATAPI drives the top lol

I know a few people working on it but noone has completed a working version yet. For System 246 it needs to support a certain set of ATAPI commands that aren't really used anymore.

Don't solutions already exist for SD/CF->IDE? Why can't you use one of these for the 2x6

That solution is for hard discs and not for DVD/CD-ROM. IDE is just the interface.
