Oh wow, I didn't know you could convert this! Do you have details? Isn't the only other game Mach Breakers? Also, GLWS!

I've always theorized it was possible though more difficult and expensive than is worth it.

You'd have to start with Mach Breakers, you'd have to patch out the security on the main board so you can remove the KeyCus chip (similar to the Namco NA games), one gotcha here is those chips are also used as random number generators so if you patch it wrong some of the random aspects of the game can occur exactly the same every single time.

as Ekorz mentioned you'd then have to replace all of the SMD Graphics ROMs on the sub board, and they don't make 5V versions of these chips. Not only is removing all of the old ones and installing new ones a tedious process, if you're not adding a voltage regulator and lifting the power input pins on these chips you're going to over volt them and burn them out.

I never attempted because Mach Breakers is a great, game and honestly not too much cheaper than Outfoxies

Alternatively if someone had an Outfoxies where the main board died or was damaged, you could swap all of the ROM chips, sub-board and Keycus chip over to a Mach Breakers donor and it would just work. and probably be identical to the original Outfoxies except for having the wrong stickers on the mobo.
