Hi, I imported this "arcade monitor stuffed into a wooden box" from YAJ, the tube is a Mitsubishi 18 inch, labelled 470NSB22, the chassis is a Nanao DUAL8, which is a dual scan 15/24.

I plugged it in and it works, but the picture is a bit fuzzy and not sharp, and white colors bleed blue vertically. It's not just in the corners, but the whole screen. Is this something I can adjust, and if so what should I be adjusting?

Is your monitor rotated? Color bleed from overdriving the gun always bleeds to the right when in landscape.

Turn the blue gain down and adjust your focus.

Yeah sorry I meant to say horizontal, game is vertical but the bleeding is horizontal. The blue bias knob was a lot higher than red and green so I adjusted it to be around the same and it looks better now, and turning the focus knob on the flyback a little bit and now it's much sharper. It's a pain to turn the focus knob since the flyback knobs are facing towards the tube, so I have to stick my arm in and curve around to fiddle with the knob. But the end results are great, thanks! As a side note, is there a better way to take pics of CRTs using an iPhone, because of the shutter speed difference it's hard to get a clear shot.

You will need to use a manual camera app and lock the shutter speed to 1/30 or 1/60. I use Lumina on iOS, it's free and not ad/subscription bloated like most seem to be.
