hey all, this monitor was pulled from a sega 18 wheeler and it would not power up at all, i thought it was a cap issue so i did a full cap kit and that did not fix it, the person i got it from replaced it so now its mine, so far its getting voltage and someone else mentioned adjusting the B+ which i did and it now comes on with a single line at the bottom of the screen, it will flicker for a bit before shutting down or going totally black, i cant get the B+ past 178v if i do then it wont turn on at all

is there anything else i should look at? could this be a flyback issue or something else? any help would be great

I think most people have had issues with the picture size using these Chinese flybacks. Never talked to anyone that swapped it that was happy with the end result.

I would just repair with original flyback from donor or replace the chassis.
