I have a 25FAR Nanao Monitor. Did a cap kit and everything worked for days. Then suddenly after running a couple of minutes white horizontal line, picture back then line again and shutdown into protection. Reflowed the section around the LA7832 IC and changed the IC. Picture for some seconds then white line and shutdown. If turned back on right afterwards no power and neck glow. After some minutes, picture then same behavior with shutdown after some seconds. Someone with a clue what to check next?

I had a similar issue. Even though I sent it to arcadecup.com for repairs, after I did a cap kit. He re did the capkit and who knows what else. But anyways, after I got board back a few months later my ms8-29 started vertical collapsing and shut down in few seconds again.
What i ended up doing was re checking all my work I did. I used tweezers (What ever I felt like grabbing at the time) and started pushing on all the solder joints and found one of them was moving freely. Even though it looked soldered down, it wasn't because the pad was gone. So I scraped trace near it and re-soldered. And it's been working perfectly now.

Checked the diodes zd903 and zd904, both OL in one direction and 0.7…V in the other, out of circuit in diode test mode. Reflowed some suspicious joints. Nothing. Changed the last cap I didn’t, except the big one, tryed another IC. Still nothing.

I will bring up this thread again before trying the MS9 Chassis swap.
Chassis had been at Technoservice two times, new Flyback, cause the old one didn't Focus anymore.
There the chassis is running for hours. When i put at on my tube the problem still remains. after some secs or minutes picture is gone, but i can see neck glow. No static on the tube and the high pich noise from the HV disapers.
Is something wrong with my Yoke? I dont think its the tube or maybe it'S the tube itself?
