Having a heck of a time with this Nanao MS8-29SU out of my Virtua Racing, have done a full recap, replaced all burnt or iffy resistors, reworked anything that looked at all sketchy, the HOT and voltage regulator as they were bad, and initially got a good 15 minutes of play before F902 blew once again and took out the HOT and vr with it
After doing some research, I measured from the second fuse clip to TP2 and got 1.7k ohms instead of a healthy 2-5k, and then measured D533. It was in fact bad, so I replaced that, and measure 4-7k ohms on that line which sounds more in line with expectations. I tested and replaced Q903 and Q904 at this time as well, as they looked a bit charred and did test bad.
Unfortunately, it now pops on for a few seconds, then blew the fuse, HOT, and vr, leaving me back at the drawing board
If anybody's got any guidance I'd be more than grateful!
