Hello,
I'm currently testing an MS8 chassis, but the tube I'm using gives a picture that is a bit too wide and could also be a bit taller.
I've fiddled with the remote pots and the N/W jumper on the chassis, without any success.
On a different model chassis, I would adjust the "size limit" on the main board, but on the MS8 there are 3 (H.sub.size/h.sub1/hsub2) for the horizontal and none for the vertical.
Moreover the 3 are glued, so I don't know if it's safe to tweak them...
So, TLDR:
To shrink the picture horizontally on an MS8, can I adjust H.Sub.size? Or the only option is to add a capacitor?
And to widen the picture vertically is there any adjustment?
What does the VR-1 trimmer on the small vertical sub-board do?
