Hello Guys, I just noticed that the gap betwen pixels is wider on the edges of the monitor, than in the center.

Is barely noticeable in game, in motion, but it's there, and it's very visible using the grid test pattern.

Excuse my poor cellphone pics, I don't know how to take good photos of a CRT, nevertheless you can see what I'm talking about.

I'm providing 3 pics, a full, a center, and an Edge photo where those wider gaps are easy to see.

¿Could that be a focus issue? and if so, could I improve it adjusting the focus knob on the flyback?

or, could it be something more difficult to fix?

What do you think?

Thank you very much for your time!

That’s a convergence issue—the red, green, and blue beams aren’t converging on the same spot to form white. This adjustment happens on the rings of the yoke on your tube. No CRT ever has perfect convergence at the center AND the corners. Given that the convergence at the center of your tube is pretty good, I would recommend learning to live with it. One can go crazy trying to chase perfection—something that doesn’t exist.

Here is a video overview of the adjustment process.

Thanks!!! that is all I wanted to hear!, I'm ok with my monitor, colors are very good, and as I've said, is barely noticeable in motion.

I just saw your video, and I'm really not in the mood to start tinkering with those rings oh no.

Thanks again kikaso!
