So I've recapped the entire chassis, I don't have a service manual. anyone know where to test the B+ voltage? There seems to be loads of variations on this board so any help would be great. The PCB says 5A00185C1. I can se the pot (full of silicone!)

Thanks, I don't see the test points, mine is an SE if that makes a difference?

SE and SU are almost the same. The test point are there.

I'll take another look, are they actually marked TP? All I can see is one pin marked J!

The chassis on the monitor you have has been replaced. That's the older model chassis from a MS8-26SG.

I see, so are my test points the pins I have found? I & J? If not, where do I measure from? Thanks again :)

Thanks, are the heat sinks ground? I don't want to blow anything probing around!!

Thanks for your help, when the final cap arrives I'll finish the job :)

Sorry, I deleted my post.

Check where the negative side of C909 is connected to. Maybe to either one of the wire links to the left of it, J144 or J145? Use that as ground.
