3.17, 4.01 and 4.02 are netdimm firmwares, the upper board detects it. So, the problem is the combination of any of those firmwares and the upper board that makes it normal dimm. Normal dimms and netdimms share the same main board.
Netdimm doesn't have any issue with CF loading.
I haven't released that system because I have been informed many people here in Spain want that system for making money, and I hardly do any new dimms / readers with that system. I want to let pass more time before I think anything about releasing the code.
I would want to ask you to let this thread for @Viku 's selling product.
