Greetings!
Sorry for the confusing title, not sure how to describe what I’m seeing exactly. I’ve attached a small gif that shows what’s happening when performing the jvs test. In the analog section 1’s and 0’s keep cycling rapidly. Not sure if that’s supposed to be happening, or if it’s supposed to be stable. I’m using Sega I/O board 838-13683-93.

Haven’t noticed anything abnormal. No idea what the flickering is about.
 
yes, analog inputs are supposed to have a stable voltage on them from (usually) a pot connected between ground and 5v.
if you leave the inputs unconnected they will pickup static and show random crap.
 
Ah! Interesting! Thank you so much!! I wanted to rule out if it had anything to do with the distortion at the top of my screen.
