Hello!
I have a Naomi + NetDIMM + sega IO (black box) setup, and have started recently having issues with mvc2 freezing.
Strangely, other games seem to be fine, but mvc2 will often freeze after the character select screen, or if certain characters are used (anakaris in particular). Often, graphical artifacts will show up prior to freezing as well. Sometimes, although very rarely, it works just fine.
At one point this morning I got a error 31 "This game is not acceptable by main board.", but this went away with a restart.
Power voltages seem to be fine-ish -- 5v is fine, a little low on the 3.3v when coming directly from the PSU, but I can dial in 3.3v when coming from the sega IO but this makes no difference.
Ram Test and Dimm Board Test check out OK after multiple tries, however doing the mvc2 Rom Board Test definitely shows some issues with bad IC, however they're not consistently bad between runs -- different ICs will flip between good/bad (see pics).
What would you suggest trying or changing out here, perhaps the netdimm ram?
Thanks!
