I was curious in the case of bad ram being the issue I'm seeing as well, I'd seen mention that these IS42S16100H-7TLI-TR from ISSI work for the 5x 16M-SDRAM (16Bit) chips, but hadn't found a solution for the 8x 64M-SDRAM (16Bit) chips, in case the issue lies there for me.
I came across these W9864G6KH-6 from Winbond, whose datasheet seems to match the specs for the original Samsung K456416320-TC1L for the latter ram type.
I wanted to see if they seem correct to others as well, or if there's a different known replacement beyond harvesting from pc100 ram sticks.
