Hi everyone, I'm new here and could really use some help with my Blast City arcade cabinet.
I recently picked up a Blast City, and everything seems to be working fine except for one big issue—there's no sound. I'll try to explain what's going on as clearly as possible because it's a bit tricky.
What I've Done So Far:
After all this work, the image quality is amazing lol, but I'm still not getting any sound. I’ll be attaching some pictures to this thread so anyone who’s willing to help can get a better understanding of the issue.

What I've Done So Far:
- Wiring Issue: When the Blast City arrived, I noticed two wires were connected to the 12V line coming from the harness. These wires were actually speaker wires (positive and negative) from left speaker, they were totally cut off. It looks like someone tried to power the speakers using the 12V line, but I’m not sure why. I disconnected these wires from the 12V line and reconnected the speaker wires properly to the right speaker, which also connects to the power amp.
- Pandora's Box vs. JAMMA: The cabinet came with a Pandora's Box installed. When I power on the Blast City with the Pandora's Box, there's no sound at all. However, when I use a JAMMA board that has its own sound amp, the sound works, but it’s very low and has interference.
- Recap and Fuses: I did a full recap on both the power amp/audio amp and the chassis. I also replaced the fuses in the power supply and audio amp. The only thing I haven’t replaced yet is the power supply filter capacitor (I've already ordered it and it should arrive tomorrow).
- Volume knob works properly when I'm using a jamma with sound amp
