I bought a Tekken Tag 2 Namco 369 from @ArcSys101 , and the system that arrived does not work.

I sent him videos of how the system was plugged in to show that it was being tested under proper conditions and to ask if he saw any issues with how I set it up. Apparently, he did not, as he named none. His only note was that if the fan is running, I should just wait, and the game should boot up.

Later, I explained that I tested the game on multiple cabinets and let the fans run for 10 minutes with no booting. I offered to send the system back in exchange for a refund, and @ArcSys101 ghosted me.

I am disappointed because, before this, I had transactions with him that went smoothly. When I bought this unit, there was an option to buy from another seller for less money, but I chose @ArcSys101 because I had pre-established trust in him based on the previously trouble-free history.

I've followed up numerous times and been met with no reply, so I do not expect to get my money back at this point, but I am leaving the note for others to read.

If a problem comes up, and you reach out to him in good faith in search of a solution, he may simply disappear with your money.

I wonder if he has any MVS cart screws laying around too…
Bought a Ninja Masters MVS, showed up without the screws. Said he took them out when cleaning or something and forgot to put them back in, huh?
Harassed about them for a while, he showed a pick of some he said he’d send but nothing, no discount or screws…

I edited my post above as I did hear back from Arcsys via alternative contact methods and he is not able to access his account

Given he has always made things right on my deals, albeit with some delay, I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt as I don't think he would burn his reputation over what amounts to rather small transactions and given how long he has been a seller here.

Not to try to detract from the legitamacy of the feedback I’m curious about whether you tried hdmi as well. I was scratching my head over a 369 I had bought recently for a few days, but didnt have the proper spec vga cord despite trying 4 I had on hand and ordering two more, until I got a true HD VGA cord

I have tried with HDMI and plan to try again the next time I visit the warehouse. The seller also sent me a video before shipping the unit, and the system in the video is hooked up through vga with nothing plugged into the HDMI port.

This was the cable that eventually worked for me btw, it needed to be SVGA. I linked the male to male version in my history, but I can't remember if this is the one I was using for head to head after it being split, so just double check you need male to male.

What cabinets are you trying it on also out of curiosity? When I was originally researching TTT2, I was under the impression it was a 1080p game, but it ended up being 720p, and while the tv I was testing on via hdmi still displayed the 720p improperly fit on a 1080p, maybe yours in particular is picky? This is the only reason I suggested hdmi, because I could at least get some kind of picture before I had figured out what the spec of the VGA cord need to be. The vga cord I pulled from a vewlix F did not work which was especially suprising considering the stock monitor does 768.

After his initial email saying he would provide a partial refund, absolutely nothing.

I don't think he should be allowed to sell on this site until everyone that got shafted is made whole.
