FS: Neo Geo Vortex ALL-IN-1 cart for your AES system.
If you're interested in one of these carts - e-mail me!
Since October 2023, I've made almost 400 Vortex All-in-1 carts for the Neo Geo, most of them for the MVS Arcade System (For Sale thread for MVS cart) The AES cart hasn't been made/sold since mid-2024. After years of R&D I'm excited to offer, for limited time, AES All-in-1 carts for sale!
Making these carts is a time consuming effort that requires the purchase of AES donor carts, custom PCBs, extra flash memory, etc. There's a lot of work and many hours that go into making 1 cart. Unlike other SD based solutions for the Neo Geo AES, all the games on this cart instantly boot!
What I do:
- All flash chips are removed and reprogrammed with a full set of all clean** Neo Geo ROM dumps (all MVS, AES, some Neo Geo CD ports, some homebrew games)
- the 3 CPLD chips are reprogrammed with new code to support the extended number of games
- new menu is installed to make game selection easy
- extra flash memory is added to make all the games fit (stock 161-in-1 doesn't have enough memory chips to fit all the games)
- all new PCB boards are made, soldered, and populated to support the new flash memory that's added to the cart
- 2 new custom power rail circuits are added to support the extra memory and fix the bad audio output of the original design - this is a custom design by me using new components
- all the capacitors have been replaced with new Japanese Nichicon capacitors
- all new components sourced from Mouser
- corrections are applied to the PCBs to improve cart compatibility and power rail stability

My video of the cart in action: https://x.com/leonkiriliuk/status/1721719015972762101
PRICE: $400 USD + actual shipping to you (to most places in the world that's about $20-$25 USD) with tracking.
PAYPAL ACCEPTED. ALSO ACCEPTING WISE.COM PAYMENT IN EURO.
** KNOWN LIMITATIONS:
- KOF2000 has graphical glitches in the menu text but the game is fully playable
- GAROU:Mark of the Wolf is the beta version
- SVC is the "Remix Ultra" version due to NEO-CMC bankswitching
--> For these games, the original carts are not standard Neo Geo carts. They have extra chips to add encryption/memory bankswitching stuffed into them. These chips are not reproduced in the CPLD code due to space and as a result compromises had to be made to make the games "work". Otherwise, every attempt is made to use original dumps.
