Neo Geo Memory Card for NeoSD?

I have been thinking about getting a memory card. I was playing Alpha Mission II and it froze at some point later in the game. Would a memory card have allowed me to resume from there? The cards are getting pricey and I am aware of the battery issue. I have also not found any solid reviews of the JGO card. If anyone has these and can give me some advice before I buy that would be cool!

I haven't tried the JGO card but can vouch for the NeoSaveMasta cards - they work very well.

And yes, the card will let you resume where you left off in Alpha Mission 2 and most other Neo Geo games. However you can only save your progress if you Game Over and don't continue.

If the game froze it wouldn’t have saved, sounds like your game crashed.

A memory card is also helpful for saving the Unibios settings on an AES.
