Hey searching a few guides online and some say to do this some say to do that, Is there a guide for just using the PC and not a pi?
Also not to sure if rom talk is allowed on here but are the games on EMU paradise can i just download these or will they not work?

Just to add i have every part ready to go for netbooting

I have the zero key I'm just unsure what exactly I'm doing as most guides say how,to do it with a pi, just need to know, what I'm doing pc side

the official app didnt have the zerokey heartbeat fix the triforce py scripts did thou. ive missplaced the apps at the moment. ill look more

The options are:

Transfergame.exe (requires zero key)

Piforcetools script (does not require zero key but requires constant PC connection without one)

If you use transfergame then you can disconnect/shutdown the pc after loading the game. I personally do it wirelessly using a wireless switch.

Transfergame syntax is easy. Place the transfergame.exe and the game roms into the same folder. Then from the command prompt type:

C:\transfergame.exe [romname.bin] [naomi IP address]

Dont include the brackets. Example:

C:\transfergame.exe mvc2.bin 192.168.1.19

Yeah fuck Pi's. I have the cabinet hardwired to one of my routers satellites and load games using my Surface Pro.

I have the jasen netboot kit (Pi B+ or whatever it was) setup. But when I was waiting for that I used transfergame.exe, pretty simple to setup a bat file to do it all.

Ah i think i got it, open CMD, opened the exe then the options was there haza ill be playing capcom vs snk 2 in no time :)

How is the atomiswave roms work with netbooting? is it just the same with transfering naomi games?

I have Transfergame exe in my Mega repository (tools folder).
You can use folders. C:\netboot\transfergame.exe 192.168.0.2 vt.bin -> launch "vt.bin" in "c:\netboot\" folder. But for exemple you can add "roms\vt.bin" if rom is in "c:\netboot\roms\" folder.
For easy launchers don't use CMD. Right clic on transfergame.exe, choose create shortcut. Then edit shortcut and add ROM name and IP in "target". You can modify "start in" (2nd line) to specify root folder if your roms are not in transfergame.exe folder or in a subfolder of it.

I dont think i am doing this right...
I gave the netdimm the ip 192.168.1.2
I put in the command on cmd however i dont think my laptop is connecting with the dim
the cmd window just says now connecting for 1 full second then stops with a whole bunch of geberish right after (not english words)
