Hey all, not sure what’s going on here, so wondering if you all have any thoughts. I have a 4.02 netdimm works perfect in my Naomi 1. I recently purchased working Chihiro and Triforce mobos, both Type 1. On both whenever I boot them, I get Error 22, and always 22. I’ve tried reseating them dozens of times, screwing them down, even taking the netdimm out of its case. I’m getting a solid connection. Using a Sun PSU and verified voltage, but still no joy. Any ideas?

I knew as soon as I posted this, I’d figure it out. I still don’t understand why it gives Error 22, but I’ll leave this here in case it happens for someone else. I upgraded the netdimm to 1GB (2x512MB), and did a full test on Naomi menu and it all checked good, but Chihiro and Triforce cause an Error 22. When I leave it as just 1 512MB stick chihiro boots and I can load games fine. Mystery solved I guess? I guess Type 1s literally can’t even function if they see more then 512MB?

It’s a type 1, and all the instructions I e found are for type 3. Do you know which jumpers I need to set for 1GB?

Necro post but I’m really glad you posted this since I was going through this exact issue.

I have a NetDIMM and a regular DIMM unit that work perfectly on NAOMI. The Chihiro was kept throwing an Error 22 and wasn’t sure what was the exact cause. I reseated both the top and middle PCBs in the NetDIMM as a just in case, made sure the cartridge made a strong connection with the top media board but same result.

The writing was on the wall when I saw old pictures of Chihiro and Triforce units with NetDIMM + 512MB stickers.

I swapped out the 1x 256MB Samsung M366S332CT0-C7A and placed 1x 512MB Kingston KVR 133X64C3/512 stick and everything worked out the gates.
